Your phone can make speech without sending the job to a server. VoiceStudio's October twenty-fourth mobile preview says speech, dictation and dubbing can run on the phone after you download the models.

That download is the catch. The app brings the model files onto your device first. Its documentation lists different storage and memory needs for each task, so not every phone can run every model.

Local mode does not need a computer, an account or a cloud service, according to the developer. You can optionally pair a computer and choose where each task runs. Those are separate processing routes.

These are preview builds for iPhone and Android, not an App Store or Google Play release. Installation takes extra steps. Some models have separate license conditions, so check those before choosing a workflow.

We have not installed the app or independently tested its speed, accuracy or network behavior. Offline processing is a useful option, not a blanket privacy guarantee. Watch whether the preview handles a real recording reliably on your phone.
